I am a knowledgeable instructor who will help you work toward your goals in a friendly and encouraging manner. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years, and I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

We typically start by learning simple songs from method books, and as you build consistency with practice, you’ll be able to play many of your favorite pieces within a couple of years. I studied with exceptional teachers and performed internationally, but my teaching style is not overwhelming or “tough”—I use my experience in a supportive way to help you achieve your goals. I teach both adults and children ages 5 and up.
