Alexander Kostritsa is a concert pianist and piano instructor with more than 10 years of teaching experience. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
Born in Moscow, Alexander began studying piano at age six and went on to perform as a soloist throughout Europe and Asia. He has appeared in Russia, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Japan, South Korea, and other countries, and has received recognition in several international piano competitions.
After moving to Cleveland in 2011 to study with renowned pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Alexander earned his doctoral degree and has continued to perform actively while teaching students of all ages and skill levels. His recordings have been released on Divine Art and Grand Piano labels.
Alexander offers personalized in-home piano lessons in Chagrin Falls and surrounding communities, as well as online lessons for students worldwide.
